How can you access your Inheritance early?
With Provira, you can access up to 50% of your inheritance within just a few days.
As a beneficiary, it can take up to 12 months for you to access your inheritance. And for estates that include multiple properties, investments or international assets, the wait can feel endless.
That’s where Provira comes in. We allow you to access up to 50% of your inheritance early, whether probate has been granted or not, and regardless of whether there is a valid will.
All you have to do is apply with details about your inheritance. As the loan is evaluated against your inheritance, we don’t take your personal finances or credit rating into account.
And there’s no need to worry about repaying the loan by a certain time. Our loan rates are fixed for the entire life of the loan – that means you just need to pay us back when the funds become available.
When it comes to repayment, the advance is normally paid back to us by your solicitors once the estate is settled. We don’t charge you anything monthly and you won’t have to pay any early repayment fees if you do want to pay it off early.
At Provira, we know that this can be a stressful time, so our team is here to make the process as simple as possible for you.
How it works
At Provira, our team can help you access up to 50% of your inheritance early.
Within just a few days, we assess, grant and pay out your share of the estate.
Once the money lands in your account, you can use it however you like! If you want to use it to pay school fees, buy a new house or even go on holiday for some self-care, you can. How you spend your inheritance is completely up to you.
Your credit score is not an issue
Because your application is assessed on your future inheritance, your credit history or personal finances are not something we take into account when granting the Advance.
Even if you have a bad credit history or are unemployed, you are still eligible to access your inheritance early with us.
No Will? No problem
You can access your inheritance early – before or after probate is granted – and regardless of whether there is a valid will.
Fast, fair and easy
Once you get in touch with us, we’ll try and get you pre-approved in just 48 hours. We only charge simple interest, not compound interest. That means you’ll have the peace of mind of exactly what interest you owe and never have to worry about your loan compounding and costing more with each month that goes by.

Do you have to pay any fees to access your Inheritance early?
Our fees are easy to understand, so you know exactly what you’ll need to pay to access your inheritance early.
Here’s how it works:
Arrangement Fee: 1-2% – this is added to the loan, so you only need to repay it once your inheritance comes through.
Interest: 1.5 – 2% per month. This is simple interest, which means the same amount of interest is applied every month, rather than compound interest, which increases month on month as the repayment amount increases.
Other things to know
- There are no monthly repayments and no early repayment fees.
- The Advance is normally repaid in full when your inheritance is received.
- When the estate is settled the loan is repaid to us, normally by the Estate Administrator or the professional firm responsible for the sale of a property within the estate.
- If it turns out that your inheritance is less than expected, then as long as you have kept to the terms of the agreement, you will not be required to pay the shortfall should there be one.

FAQ's
With Provira, you can usually access your inheritance within just a few days of applying. We aim to get you a response within 48 hours and once the paperwork is signed, you can sometimes have the money in your account the same day!
At Provira, we only assess the value of your assets in the UK, so unfortunately will not be able to take into account any stocks or property abroad.
With Provira, you can access up to 50% of your inheritance early. The exact amount depends on the value of your estate and how much of it you are entitled to.
An Inheritance Advance with Provira isn’t like a personal loan. We don’t do credit checks, we don’t ask you to pay back the loan monthly and we don’t ask you to put down any collateral.
In fact, you can still access your inheritance early, even if you don’t have a job!
We just look at how much of the estate you are entitled to, we pay 50% of that amount into your account and it gets repaid once the estate is settled.
Yes. You can still apply if there is not a valid will.
Anything you would like to! From a holiday to a house or even school fees, you can use the Inheritance Advance for whatever you would like.
Even if probate takes longer than expected, you won’t be penalised. We know that probate can be a long and messy process, so we take the pressure off by keeping the agreement going until the inheritance comes through.
All of our loan agreements are ‘fixed term’ rather than ‘fixed length’. What that means is that the interest rate is fixed for the entire life of the loan and you simply pay it back once the funds become available. Because we only charge simple interest, not compound interest, you’ll always know exactly how much is being charged month on month.
So in short: You don’t have to worry about sticking to any timelines or being fined if things take a little longer than expected. Our team are here to guide you through every step of the way.
Yes, at Provira, we loan you the money for up to 3 years. Since probate usually takes between 6-12 months, this is normally plenty of time for the funds to become available.
If you have any concerns about repayment, get in touch with our team who are here to help.
No, you don’t have to pay the Advance back monthly. You just have to pay it back when your inheritance is released and payment is made from your solicitor to Provira directly
That’s not a problem at all! If you have a sibling, spouse, or any other person who is also listed on the estate, they can also apply to access their inheritance early. The loan amount is calculated based on your share of the estate, so it doesn’t affect what other beneficiaries are able to receive.
Simple interest means you’re only charged interest on the original loan amount and fees, and that amount stays the same every month.
Compound interest, on the other hand, charges interest on top of the interest, so over time your loan becomes more expensive to repay. Using simple interest means you end up paying less interest overall, so you can keep more of your inheritance in your pocket.
No, as a beneficiary, in theory, you can apply to access your inheritance early without anyone’s permission. However, we will need to work with the executor to confirm the details of your estate and make sure everything is set up for repayment once the estate is paid out. Because of this, it’s best that you notify them in advance.
Yes, although it isn’t necessary. Usually, the advance is paid back when the inheritance is paid out, which means you don’t have to worry about digging into your own savings. However, if you want to, you can pay the Advance back early with no early repayment fees.
Unfortunately, at this time, we are only able to offer Inheritance Advances to UK residents.
